  38.     By the way, what are you using to network your PC to your Amiga?  
  39. I am using AmiTCP 4.2 and I am having problems.  First, I have been 
  40. unsuccessful at setting up Samba.  Samba allows you to mount an Amiga 
  41. drive on a Windows NT workstation.  The Amiga drive shows up under 
  42. "Connect to Drive" option in File Manager, but when I try to expand the 
  43. view to look at the contents of the remote drive, I get something like 
  44. "Invalid network path".

  46.      I have also tried to FTP to the Amiga.  After sending about 15 to 
  47. 30 megabytes to my Amiga 4000, the Amiga crashes and reboots.  If I FTP 
  48. from the Amiga to the PC, after 15 to 30 megs, the Amiga stops data 
  49. transfer, and then a short while later reports that my pentium dropped 
  50. the connection.  It looks like a problem with AmiTCP 4.2.  Also, when 
  51. FTPing from PC to Amiga then the Amiga crashes, my Amiga hard drive will 
  52. have bad checksum errors for some of the files and the hard disk will be 
  53. unvalidated!  I have to use AmiBack Tools to fix the hard drive.  I tried 
  54. this 8 times and every time the Amiga crashed and screwed up the hard 
  55. disk.  I have left a email to the AmiTCP guys in Germany a week ago, but 
  56. still no response.
